In Drama we were given a group and we had to performa a melodrama piece. Even though our groups were chosen we were still allowed to pick one person to be with, however we wouldn't definatly be with them. We had to make our script as a group. There had to be a heroine villain and hero in the play. Our play was a crime that the villain commits to the president and at the end the rogue and the daughter save the day. Our group worked really hard and we achieved a good grade.
So what
This drama piece was significant because of the things we learnt. Our group learnt lots about teamwork and about melodrama. We learnt how to cooperate more and who works well and who dosent.It was also fun in the practices, because we had an interesting play. I make a better person when it comes to working in groups, and performing melodrama pieces.
Now What?
This project has made me alot better in drama. I learnt ot have confidence in myself and speaking and acting infront of an audience. It also helped me organize my time better, as we had to organize by when we would be done with what. It also taught us that rehearsals are very important and that you should take your time rehearsing, not just rush through the scenes. This is because if you do do this then you might make this mistake in the actual performance.
